Crandon Area Chamber of Commerce

* Established in 1978.

* Over 100 members strong.

* Structured to promote the tourism and economic growth of Crandon and Forest County.

* Governed by Board of Directors: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Executive Director, and three members on each council: Retail, Tourism, and Business-Professional-Industrial

* Full-time office open 5 days a week,located on three major highways.

* Voice Mail and 800 number for easier access for information by potential visitors, relocations, or businesses interested in our area.

* Excellent working relationship with area Chambers of Commerce, as well as other communities and organizations throughout the area.

* $20,000.00 Department of Tourism Grant received in 1999/2000 to promote winter tourism in Forest County

* Acquired nearly $60,000.00 in tourism JEM grant dollars (awarded to group of 5 Chambers) for promotion of fall tourism in the Northwoods for three year period, 2003, 2004, and 2005

How to Become a Member

* Call us to say you wish to become a member, fill out the Membership Application.

*Dues Schedule: Dues are paid on a yearly basis, and currently range from $125.00 for sole proprietor to $525.00 for large businesses, and $2000.00 for municipal or corporate members.
